Medieval Celebrations in May - June

The whole month of May and early June is the perfect time to visit Castiglion Fiorentino. The atmosphere is charged with medieval music, costumes and ancient flag throwing. Performing minstrels are on hand to entertain and there are a variety of games and historic re-enactments finishing with a horse race in June.

There is also an opportunity to sample local food and wine during the medieval party season which is served by locals in costume at the Cassero. Come and dress up and join in the fun! (more details…)
